
Job Description
Position: Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) / Clinic Manager
Department: Hyperbaric Clinic
We are currently seeking a fulltime position to be filled in our Raleigh, NC clinic scheduled to open in mid-late March 2008.
We are also continuously looking for additional nurses and techs at our other sites, which currently include: Austin, TX, and Palm Beach, FL.

Responsibilities include:
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary medical personnel and other team members in maintaining standards for professional hyperbaric practice in the clinical setting.
- Manages the clinic schedule, hyperbaric oxygen treatments, and maintains the standards of practice, supplies/ordering and equipment.
- Provides hands-on care within a fast paced Hyperbaric Center.
- Participates in unit employee selection thru the interviewing and hiring process.
- Assists corporate with orientation of new employees, training and education of new personnel and ongoing staff development.
- Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining quality plan of care for all patients.
- Participates in marketing and management meetings as needed.
- Knowledge of Regulatory Standards as per clinic. (JCAHO, OSHA, Corporate Compliance, HIPPA, and Risk Management)
- Scheduling of staff
- Will oversee unit charge entry for services rendered.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
- Maintaining up-to-date staff competencies and employee files.
- Actively pursues marketing efforts with continuous follow up with local medical community members.
- Maintains communication with corporate office in Hilton Head Island, SC to discuss current activity within the unit and plans for further growth.
- Coordinate referrals with other units practices in the complex.
Qualifications include:
- Graduate of approved CHT program (holding current certificate).
- Two or more year’s recent experience as a registered nurse with wound care, critical care, or hyperbaric oxygen therapy experience preferred.
- BCLS required. ACLS preferred
- Ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours if needed i.e.; Saturdays, evenings.
