The UHMS 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting

 

The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) is holding their 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting in St. Pete Beach, FL, June 3-5.  The Conference venue is the Tradewinds Island Resort.  More information on Hotel Registration CLICK HERE.

 

The Conference Program will feature a number of outstanding local and international speakers, concurrent sessions, and poster presentations.  The Conference attracts researchers and practitioners from all around the world and provides a wonderful opportunity to meet and extend contacts.

 

Background on The UHMS

 

The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) is an International, non-profit organization serving over 2,000 members from more than 50 countries.

 

Most UHMS members are diving or hyperbaric physicians and scientists.  The Associate members are composed of nurses, technicians, respiratory therapists and others who work in the field of diving and hyperbaric medicine.

 

The UHMS is the primary source of information for diving and hyperbaric medicine and physiology worldwide.  It was founded as the Undersea Medical Society in 1967 but in 1986 changed the name to Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.  The name change reflects the rapidly growing interest in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. 

 

The UHMS's purpose is to:

  • Provide scientific information to protect the health of sport, military, public safety, and commercial divers

  • Improve the scientific basis of hyperbaric oxygen therapy

  • Promote sound treatment protocols and standards of practice

  • Provide CME accreditation.

 

Exhibition

Distributed to every delegate upon registration, satchels are constantly used by delegates throughout the meeting to carry their notes and belongings and often retained as a memento after the event.  Sponsorship of the satchels therefore offers excellent exposure, as the sponsor will be a constant presence for the duration of the event and beyond.

  • Opportunity to include promotional material in delegate satchels (this must be sent to UHMS one month prior)

  • Opportunity to supply to the ASM, note pads and pens with company logo for inclusion in delegate satchels

EXHIBITION:

Sponsors, companies and organizations are invited to exhibit at the ASM and have the opportunity to make contacts and show their products / services to a target audience during morning & afternoon breaks and the Welcome Reception.

 

For your benefit we are offering two types of exhibition space.  Three representatives per booth/two representatives per table...an additional fee of $50 per representative will be required for more than the allotted (for coffee breaks/food) mark this on the "Other Fees" page.  Additional Representative for the Reception must pay cost under "Other Fees."  If you or your representatives want to attend the Banquet, you must add it under "Other Fees"  ADMITTANCE TO THE CONFERENCE SESSIONS IS NOT INCLUDED
