The continuing medical education mission of the Pacific Chapter of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society is to develop and promote programs that improve the scientific knowledge of physicians and other allied health professionals, in the Pacific Coast and Western regions of the United States and Canada, in matters related to undersea and hyperbaric environments and appropriate applications of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

ABOUT PORTLAND: Portland, Oregon's largest city, sits on the Columbia and Willamette rivers, in the shadow of snow-capped Mount Hood. It's know for its parks, bridges and bicycle paths, as well as for its eco-friendliness andits microbreweries and coffeehouses. Iconic Washington Park encompasses sites from the formal Japanese Garden to Orego Zoo and its railway. The city hosts thriving art, theater and music scenes.

Taxicabs: The average taxi fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $35 before gratuity. Radio Cab offers a discount with coupons available on their website. The one-way trip takes 20-40 minutes. You can find taxis waiting in the center section of the airport terminal’s lower roadway outside of the baggage claim; to get back to the airport from the city center, you can order a cab through the city’s main operators or from a hotel with a dedicated taxi stand.
Shuttles: When you leave the airport, you will find the shuttles at the bottom entrance of the terminal (outside the baggage claim area) on the other side of the second strip (“Island 2”) near the parking garage. Many airport hotels offer free services.
CHAPTER CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: $50 administrative fee will be held on all cancellations three (3) months prior to start of meeting date. 50% of fees will be held on all cancellations one (1) month to two weeks prior to start of meeting date. NO REFUNDS two weeks prior to or after the meeting date.
