Role Overview:

The Hyperbaric Chamber Technician will provide daily operation of the hyperbaric chamber. This includes screening clients, assisting with intake forms and payment and properly educating and instructing the clients regarding the benefits, proper safety and emergency protocols of the hyperbaric treatment.

Minimum Education:

· High School diploma required.

· Certification as a CHT

· Current/valid EMT-B or currently enrolled in EMT-B

· LVN, RN welcome to apply

• Excellent communication : verbal, non-verbal & written.
• Good interpersonal skills: face to face, via phone, via written correspondence
• Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
• Very organized
• Ability to problem solve for good outcomes
• Strong computer skills including:
• Microsoft Office
• EMR/EHR/PACS
• Practice management/Appointment schedules
• Scanning
• Printing
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and protocols.
• Ability to work with multiple departments to achieve maximum compliance.
• General administrative skills.

Reporting Structure:

• Directly to the CEO and Managing Partner.
• Partners and Medical Professionals have indirect oversight as well

Job Responsibilities: Duties will consist of, but not be limited to:

• Show to work on time with a clean and presentable appearance.
• Provide daily operation of the hyperbaric chamber
• Properly screen clients.
• Assist with intake forms and payment.
• Properly educate and instruct the clients regarding the hyperbaric treatment health benefits.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations including patient confidentiality, building access protocols, and additional safety measures.
• Educate clients on property safety and emergency protocols and ensure proper guidance and safety through the whole client experience.
• Ensure regular maintenance of hyperbaric chamber after each use and at end of day.
• Provide daily record keeping of each machine.
• Oversee the chambers mechanical efficient of use and screens for any mechanical problems or failures.
• Market subscription model of hyperbaric and recovery packages
• Maintain customer satisfaction
• Basic understanding of all other services provided by Smart Health and Wellness.
• Properly represents the professionalism and Code of Ethics of SMART.
• Work with other staff members in a collaborative manner
• Maintaining a clean environment.
• Attending meetings as requested
• Other duties as assigned
