Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the compression chamber system and supporting components, as well as performing maintenance on hyperbaric chambers and associated systems and equipment. We’re using technology and analytics to deliver new models of care and continually improve quality and efficiency, and our system provides the advanced care and technology more often associated with large, urban hospitals. It’s no wonder the American Hospital Association named us a Most Wired Hospital in 2017.

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED; related college courses desirable

  • One year of experience in healthcare or diving industry

  • Certification as a Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)

  • Current BLS certification

  • Chamber operational competency workbook to be completed within 90 days of hire date

  • Microsoft Windows proficiency

  • Wound care, hyperbaric medicine and/or experience in emergency medicine or acute care preferred

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience a plus; Wound Expert and Cerner strongly preferred
